With the suprise Monday morning Aug 10th shutdown announcement of the virtual assistant platform Zirtual, many Zirtual Assistants are desperatly trying to contact their users while all Zirtual employees find themselves all locked out of their Zirtual Assistant accounts. Meaning they have no way to reach the users they built a lover relationship over the months, even year(s).
Both former users and employees are mad as hell about this lack of communication.
Many users trying to broker a backdoor deal to somehow keep their Zirtual assistants services live.
Early Monday morning Zirtual the very popular virtual assistant service focussed on connecting its users with USA based virtual assistants, made an announment that they will be ‘pausing operations’
Meaning all users (including myself) woke up this Monday with word that their virtual assistant is ‘paused’ or as Zirtual like(d) to call them, Zirtual Assistants, or ZA’s.
They did offer an email address for you to try and reach out individually to your former ZA. It felt similar to when a terrible situation would happen to a classmate when you were in school and they would bring counselors in to help you work through situation. Reflected in this statment made by Zirtual:
“We know that many of you care deeply about your Zirtual Assistants. If you would like to connect with your assistant independently, please reach out to: email@example.com.”
Without any idea as to what has happened only knowing that Zirtual committed social suicide, by killing their social media accounts on both Twitter and Facebook. One can only speculate on what has happened.
Turns out even the employees of Zirtual did not know!!! Many of them still think it must have been a hack or spam!
